Weaving a traditional square basket from Northwest Spain.

This September I dove into the ‘Paxe’ weaving technique, a traditional way of making rod baskets here on the north of Galicia. You can see some parts of the process in the making of a square willow basket with lids and a handle, made to store freshly caught fish.
