7 Odia Pilgrims Killed in Madhya Pradesh Car Accident | Bodies Returning to Bhubaneswar | Tragic Pilgrimage A heartbreaking tragedy has struck a family from Jayadev Vihar in Bhubaneswar as seven Odia pilgrims who had travelled to Madhya Pradesh for a pilgrimage are returning home in coffins. The bodies of all seven victims are being transported by special ambulances from Nalkheda and are expected to reach Bhubaneswar this evening. The family was travelling by car to Ujjain for Maa Baglamukhi’s darshan when their vehicle was swept away by a strong current on Friday night and submerged in water, resulting in the deaths of all seven passengers. The deceased have been identified as Shiva Prasad Behera, Krishna Rajbir, Gyanendra Behera, Ritarani Behera, Saira Sonaprabha, B. Sai Swastik and Radharani Behera. The entire family is now mourning the devastating loss. Shiva Prasad’s wife recalled that she had warned the family against travelling for pilgrimage during the rainy season, but her concerns were not heeded.
