"Abandon Ship" from Subnautica - Piano Transcription

Happy Monday and, if you're in the Northeast, happy snowstorm! This week's video comes from a game that I love near and dear to my heart - Subnautica. I played the game immediately after full release and made it all the way to the end - if you would like to hear my thoughts on the game along with the soundtrack, visit the link below (and I apologize now for how bad the quality is). Anyway, we're going back to this wonderful game to divulge in the soundtrack. Abandon Ship was one of those tracks upon initially hearing it in the game I KNEW I needed to transcribe it. It's upbeat, energetic and really captured the feeling of the situation. This music occurs as the credits role at the very end of the game (so if you have not beaten the game and want to not experience the music yet, don't watch just yet!) I tried my best to include the 'drum beat' as a thumping piano bass line, and some of the other accents in the music are arpeggio flourishes. I hope you like this arrangement, it took me awhile to figure out what I was doing with the melody, hence why it took me forever to finish it! As always, if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and tell me what your thoughts are in the comments (constructive criticism is always appreciated). And if you want more awesome content, hit that subscribe button and hit up those social media accounts to stay in touch of all the good things happening on my channel! Keep practicing and I'll see you guys soon!
