More 5500s - Schindler Traction Elevators DD/EE at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO

(Filmed 5/26/26) This is another set of elevators serving the new terrace level. These ones are a bit different, because they do not go up to Exhibit Hall E, despite being in its vicinity (that's Elevator S's role). Rather, they just serve 2 of the 3 parking levels in the garage, along with an additional TM level (Terrace Mezzanine) that only DD serves. An additional call station is placed in the door frames for DD so that only that car will be served for passengers traveling up to TM. Again, love the lighting, but the buttons are hard to press for some reason. One thing that I noticed while editing is that both these elevators and BB/CC have variable separation distances between each floor, which makes it very clear that these elevators were installed into the pre-existing convention center footprint present at the time of construction. © 2026 Hidden Elevator Adventures.
