But behind the beauty of his art lies a moving and mysterious story. Join me on a journey to Auvers-sur-Oise, France, the peaceful village where Vincent van Gogh spent the final weeks of his life. In just around 70 days, he created an extraordinary number of paintings, capturing the village’s charming streets, golden wheat fields, humble houses, and beautiful countryside. In this travel vlog, we’ll explore the places connected to Van Gogh’s final days, visit the historic Auberge Ravoux, where he stayed, and discover the landscapes that inspired some of his most remarkable works. Along the way, we’ll reflect on his close relationship with his brother Theo, his extraordinary artistic legacy, and the tragic story behind his final chapter. Van Gogh left behind hundreds of unforgettable works, but his time here was heartbreakingly short. As we walk through the village, one question remains: How could an artist create so much beauty in so little time? Just a short journey from Paris, Auvers-sur-Oise offers a different side of France — far from the busy city streets, where art, history, and rural French charm come together. If you love France travel, hidden villages, art history, walking tours, and stories that bring places to life, this journey is for you. 📍 LOCATION: Auvers-sur-Oise, France 🎨 ARTIST: Vincent van Gogh 🏡 HISTORIC LANDMARK: Auberge Ravoux 🚆 PERFECT FOR: A day trip from Paris ⏱️ CHAPTERS ⏱️ 00:00 Intro 00:21 L'Église d'Auvers-sur-Oise 01:10 Van Gogh Statue 02:20 Van Gogh's Grave 03:10 A Walk in Auvers-sur-Oise 05:34 Van Gogh's Home 06:54 Auberge Ravoux 📍 PRACTICAL INFORMATION Address: Auberge Ravoux, 52 rue du Général de Gaulle, 95430 Auvers-sur-Oise, France.
