Peugeot has recently launched the Lantrek 4X4 Pickup, and with 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque, it makes a nice workhorse/lifestyle machine. It is well appointed, with high spec features not found in other trucks, and therefore presents a good value-for-money proposition. As usual, we needed to take it up the mountain to see if it can make the cut - it delivers a lot despite the power plant being only 1.9 liters. To be honest, it won't make a good weekend car to go up Genting with my friends, but if I need to go off the beaten track, this Landtrek would certainly be worth considering.
