How To Make a Mill Quill DRO Mount Part 2

In Part 2 of the Mitutoyo Quill Scale mount we bed the bracket to the head of the XLO 602 Milling Machine using Devcon Plastic Steel Putty and we milled a bracket for the back of the digital reader. The standard Bridgeport Quill Kits will not work on an XLO 602 Milling Machine, so I purchased a Mitutoyo 6" Digimatic Scale Unit 572-311-10 SDV-6" D. A 6" Absolute Digital Scale unit with vertical display and it has about 6.75" of travel. In Part 1 I made the bracket to mount the scale to the Ex-Cell-O Mill head using existing tapped holes. Using the Heidenhain DRO I located the screw holes and modeled the bracket in Fusion 360. I 2D contoured the bracket out of aluminum channel using the Certiflat DIY CNC and cleaned up the remainder on the mill.
