From Shanghai to NYUAD | Yu's Story | Visiting Students Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program

Yu Shen is majoring in Chemistry at NYU Shanghai. She chose NYU Abu Dhabi as her study away location in Spring '23. As part of her study away semester, Yu secured a research assistantship award under the supervision of Professor Serdal Kirmizialtin. The Visiting Students Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program creates a platform for visiting students to contribute to an ongoing research project under the supervision of an NYUAD faculty member, who serves as a mentor, collaborator, and role model.
