In this video, I'll show you how to set up a free GA4 MCP server using a public GitHub repo. The best part? Claude Code handles most of the setup for you. ✅ Step 1: Go to console(dot)cloud(dot)google(dot)com and create a new Google Cloud project. ✅ Step 2: Go to APIs & Services → Credentials. Create an OAuth client ID, select "Desktop app" as the application type, and download the JSON file. ✅ Step 3: Enable both the Google Analytics Admin API and Google Analytics Data API inside your project. ✅ Step 4: Open Claude Code, create a project folder, and give Claude the GitHub repo link, the path to your downloaded JSON file, and your GA4 property ID. ✅ Step 5: Let Claude handle the installation and configuration. Complete the Google authentication when prompted. ✅ Step 6: Restart Claude Desktop and send a GA4-related prompt to test the connection. That's it. Once connected, Claude can pull data directly from your GA4 property and help you analyze it without exporting reports or manually moving data around. You can find the GitHub repo and the setup prompt in the description. If you enjoyed the video, subscribe for more SEO and AEO tutorials, workflows, and strategies.
