After moving our planned dive to Bull Bay due to a strong South Westerly wind, whilst a few of us carried out some buoyancy checks, the rest of the team dived the Dakota. After lunch, we started to prepare the boats for a dive on the Barge just outside Amlwch Harbour. As we were about to leave, we were approached by a lady who asked us to help her husband who's boat engine had broken down just outside of Bull Bay. By the time we located him, he had drifted some 2-3 miles off shore and his auxiliary engine had come away from the transom. We towed him back to Bull Bay and all was well. Merseyside Branch members were very grateful for the donation to offset our fuel costs. Regrettably, we had to cancel our planned dive due to timing constraints. But it is always a pleasure to help someone in need, especially at sea.
