Adopting A Shelter Dog

The beautiful way someone else's runaway pup encouraged us to return to having a dog companion once more after almost a decade of not having one... The death of my previous dog, Chobi, was too much to handle I still think of him from time to time, but after a chance encounter with a stray Husky, we decided it was high time our family gave a needy doggie a home again! Meet Patches, we named him this for a variety of reasons; he is not only meant to patch our family up together nicely, but he himself is multicolored, like well, patches! At 4 years old, Patches still has a good few years to live, and I hope these are his happiest years yet!
