This is a screen-capture video from a TuneLing for "Peaceful Easy Feeling" from the album "Eagles", by Eagles. This song is also available in a separate TuneLing video for ukulele! Notes: More than a half-century after its release, this song still sounds great, and those exquisite Eagles vocal harmonies will never get old. It's fairly easy to play, too. On guitar, we use a capo, which really helps to simply the chord shapes, especially the transitions to and from the sus4 chords, which are used as ornaments throughout. The A chord shape (which is truly a B, if we consider the capo) could be played, as we indicate, with the common three finger form, adding the fourth finger only to form the Asus4 shape. But you could also simply barre the fourth, third, and second strings with the first finger (hopefully, still allowing the first string to ring out), and add that second finger to form the Asus4 shape. it's really your call - do what feels most comfortable. On the ukulele, we don't need a capo, but we do have a situation similar to the guitar - the chords that go back and forth between their normal and their sus4 forms can be treated a few different ways, and you get to choose what works best for your hands. We've notated the E shape with a barre, and a high note on the first string, which allows very easy transitions to and from the Esus4 shape. But you could also play that E chord several other ways, all of which are fine, as long as you can get that extra note in place for the Esus4. Also, the most difficult chord change in the whole song (and it's really not difficult at all), is the transition between the B and the Bsus4 shapes on the uke. We only show one way to play it, so it's easy to just practice that one change a few times, if you need to - you'll get it! And with that, it's time to go back to early 70s Southern California, and ENJOY! --- Please LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE to the TuneLings channel, to help more people lead happier lives by making music!
