FULL PANTRY TOUR: See our deep stockpile of 600+ jars of home canned food for the challenge! Welcome to our full pantry and deep storage tour! With the Three Rivers Challenge and $50 February Food Challenge underway, we’re showing you exactly what we have stored in our homestead pantry, fridge, and freezers to see us through! This tour covers over 600 jars of home-canned goods, fresh produce like long-keeper tomatoes and potatoes, and our cold storage of unwashed eggs. We talk about our passion for canning and food preservation, including staples like: Huge quantities of homemade applesauce and apple juice. Pressure canned chicken and lamb broth and lamb stew. Favorite canned meals like Italian Zucchini Stew and August Stew. Fermented vegetables like Turnip Pickles and long-term egg storage. This year, we’re challenging ourselves to use up the long-forgotten items on the back of the shelves, from the 2018 Apple for Pork to older relishes.
