Why Jesus Had to Look Like the Serpent on the Pole - Sam Shamoun

Sam Shamoun deconstructs the deep mystery of the fiery serpents in the wilderness to reveal the true mechanics of the Cross. Why would Yahweh command Moses to forge an icon of the very creature that was slaughtering the Israelites? Because the bronze serpent represents the cause of your death being impaled, mortified, and killed. If you think God is against icons, you’ve missed the receipt in Numbers 21. The icon healed them because it showed the serpent’s power was broken on the standard.    / @shamounian   #samshamoun #bible #bibleteaching
