My Performance: The final concert

I decided to write my speech on the morning of the final. It was very last minute because I honestly didn't know if I was going to be brave enough to stand up there and say it. Speaking in front of people has never been easy for me. I'm much more comfortable sitting at a piano. So when I walked onto that stage and started talking, I never thought in a million years that what I said would end up meaning something to so many people around the world. I wrote Reflections because I wanted to give people hope. Whoever you are, whatever you're going through, I wanted the music to take you somewhere and make you feel that things can be okay. Reading thousands of your messages and hearing what Reflections has meant to you has been really special. You felt what I hoped you would feel when I wrote it, and somehow you've found your own meaning in it too. I think that's probably the most amazing thing that could happen to something I created. Thank you to every single person who has messaged me. I'm trying to reply to as many as I can on Instagram, even if it takes me a while ♥️♥️♥️
