Exclusive: US Secretary Of State Marco Rubio & US AMB To India Sergio Gor Speaks To India Today

In an exclusive interview with India Today's Raj Chengappa at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, alongside US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, addressed key issues shaping bilateral relations and global geopolitics. Rubio expressed optimism about finalizing an interim bilateral trade deal, explaining that an agreement ensures stability and investor confidence. He underscored India's rising prominence as a global refining hub capable of processing crude from the Western Hemisphere, enabling worldwide energy diversification. On the Russia-Ukraine war, Rubio stated that the core conflict revolves around Donbas and emphasized, 'This war is not going to be solved militarily. This war is only going to end diplomatically.' He clarified that tightened US immigration policies and work visa fees are global reforms rather than measures targeting India, noting that national interests guide both Washington and New Delhi. #MarcoRubio #SergioGor #IndiaUS #itwebvideos #IndiaToday #DonaldTrump #NarendraModi #IndiaUSTrade #RussiaUkraineWar #Quad #Geopolitics #USDiplomacy #ForeignPolicy #EnergySecurity #H1BVisa #Mumbai Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
