Seaming garter stitch is not for the faint of heart, you really need to pay attention to what you are doing. When I make a garter stitch project - I cheat - I do not garter the last 2 stitches on either side - because seaming is HARD. In this video we do our best to follow the instructions and it might work for you. I feel that the key point is matching up your stitches and then pulling the work together to hide the seam - but I could be reading more into it. Part 2 of this video is "easing" stitches together. So, the intent is when you have 2 different stitch styles and you need to merge them together - example would be a panel of Double bed jacquard being sewn into a panel of plain stitch. So you need to "miss" a stitch or two on one panel to make it fit on the other panel. This is where blocking, rulers, and praying to the knitting gods come in handy. Frankly - there is a program for that - but it did not exist when this book was created.
