We left Seattle with our Jeep and Teardrop Trailer and headed northeast to cross the border into Canada through Idaho. Our first 2 nights camping were in Kimberly, British Columbia where we spent time exploring this quaint mining town. We then made our way north through Radium Hot Springs (stopping at the hot springs) and driving through the beautiful Kootenay National Park before arriving at our next campsite just outside of the town of Banff at Two Jake Lake campground. We spent 2 nights here taking side trips exploring the town of Banff, Lake Louise and Lake Minnewanka. One of our favorite highlights of the trip was driving the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper National Parks. There are so many amazing sights to see along this drive, and we stopped at Bow Lake before arriving at the Athabasca Glacier for our glacier tour. As we continued north within Jasper National Park, we stopped at Sunwapta Falls and Goats and Glaciers Lookout before arriving at our campsite for the next 2 nights. During our time in Jasper National Park we visited Athabasca Falls, hiked Valley of the 5 Lakes Trail, rode the Jasper Sky Tram and of course spent some time in the town of Jasper.
