Inside Iwan Thomas’ Smart Home Security System | Akuvox & CIE-Group

Former Olympic athlete and TV personality Iwan Thomas wanted a home security system that was simple to use, looked the part and gave him greater control over access to his property. Working with Morse Digital Security and CIE-Group, an Akuvox smart intercom and access control solution was specified for Iwan’s home, built around the Akuvox X912 door intercom and S567G indoor monitor. In this case study, Iwan shares how he uses the system day to day, from answering the door remotely when he’s away from home to providing temporary QR code access for deliveries, contractors and visitors. The installation also gives Iwan and his family access to facial recognition entry, CCTV monitoring and wider smart home functionality through the S567G’s Android-based platform. We also hear from Morse Digital Security and the CIE team about why Akuvox was chosen for the project, the installation itself and the technical support available to installers when specifying and deploying Akuvox solutions. ▶️ Featured products: • Akuvox X912 IP Video Intercom • Akuvox S567G Indoor Monitor Find out more about Akuvox smart intercom and access control solutions from CIE: https://cie-group.com/ Need help specifying Akuvox for an upcoming project?
