Remembering The Bronze Wizard: Ratilal Kansodaria | Tribute Exhibition at Kanoria Arts

Darshana Kansodaria and "Living Legacies — Celebrating the Continuum" present "Remembering The Bronze Wizard: Ratilal Kansodaria", a heartfelt tribute exhibition honouring the life and legacy of celebrated sculptor and art educator Late Shri Ratilal M. Kansodaria. Curated by Priya Adhyaru-Mehta, the exhibition brings together his iconic sculptural works, bronzes, and stories from his artistic journey, celebrating his immense contribution to public art, art education, and Gujarat’s cultural landscape. From his early days experimenting with clay and stone carving in his village to shaping public landmarks that became part of the visual memory of Ahmedabad, Shri Ratilal Kansodaria was a true "inborn artist". His legacy was shaped not only by his hands in bronze and stone, but equally by his teaching, generosity, and unwavering belief in the power of art. On the occasion of his first birth anniversary, family, friends, and art lovers gather to celebrate a presence that continues to inhabit our hearts. 🎨 Event: "Remembering The Bronze Wizard: Ratilal Kansodaria" (Retrospective Art Exhibition) 🗓️ Dates: 11–18 October 2026 📍 Venue: Black Box Gallery, Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad ✨ Presented by: Darshana Kansodaria & Living Legacies — Celebrating the Continuum ✨ Curated by: Priya Adhyaru-Mehta 📚 Special Feature: Release of a Commemorative Publication featuring photographs, archival material, and personal reflections.
