SWEET MEMORIES I recall now our sweet moments: Walking hand in hand in the city park, The gentle breeze, our laughter back then— It was so beautiful, it was pure happiness. I recall the dim light of the old movie theater, Your sweet kiss during our favorite film; That’s where the passion in my poem was born, And my heart found an infinite love. I recall our first dance, Your hand in mine—the world stood still; Hope was born in your smile, And love took root in your embrace. But today, bitterness invades my soul, My heart weeps, unable to forget; Without you by my side, I lose my calm, Only longing remains in my life. And here I stay... remembering Our good times under the moonlight; If life decides to bring you back, My heart still knows how to love you.
