Defeating all the bosses (minus most repeat fights) without taking damage in Okko the Exiled and its ending (with the slight variant depending on an optional fight). It's got really good pixel art and some good music but I didn't quite get into it as much as I'd have liked. Your attack swing feels a bit unresponsive at times (you'll probably notice a few times I jump and don't swing when I absolutely wanted to) which combined with swinging in time with the heartbeat it became a bit annoying to not have attacks go off. I didn't use the projectiles since they don't refresh when restarting a boss fight and I think the same occurred with the dragon mode (early bosses seemed to melt too fast so it might have been more suitable on the later tanky bosses since it does build up when damaging critters). I'm not sure if rebinding controls caused an issue but I never could equip any pacts (basically the game's charm/trinket system) so I played without them, although none of them were essential. Some boss moves go on for a bit too long, such as Indrac's lightning strikes having the full set go off twice or Yaldabaoth sashaying across the room (breaking all four hearts just has him resume it!), neither of which are particularly involved in dodging and just end up making you wait. On top of this several minibosses repeat themselves with no notable change. Archyboar is fought twice with the second time having a small change to the arena (where bouncing will send you into the ceiling spikes) but pogoing isn't a good strategy there to begin with. Archytrickster is fought four times with the only major change being with the platform in the center that disappears on the latter two fights after getting double jump but the third and fourth fights are fought so close together and without any change that it seemed more a miniboss fight for the sake of one. So it's mostly a lot of small things that I didn't like which makes the game sound worse than it is. I do think it's a pretty fun game overall that lasts for 10-12 hours and I don't regret playing it, just that I can't strongly recommend it. There's only one ending but some of the final dialogue between Okko and Inana changes depending on whether you fought Sabaoth. This fight is accessed from finding 45 imps and completing the 20th underground level (fortunately you don't need to do the others!) which gives the key to their tower. 0:00 Archyboar 0:37 Sabaoth Guardian 2:14 Archycrab 2:51 Archytrickster 4:08 Asura the Devourer 6:08 Archytormentor 6:51 Angra, Mother of the Deceased 10:09 Archyvenus 11:14 Archytrickster 12:59 Ravana of the False Light 15:42 Completed Crot 17:07 Indrac, the Wrath of Heavens 21:00 Archytrickster 23:18 The Blue Dawn 26:08 Yaldabaoth, Destroyer of Worlds 29:20 Yaldabaoth the Demiurge 36:04 Ending 42:47 Sabaoth 49:12 Ending Dialogue Variant and Credits Okko the Exiled can be purchased at https://store.steampowered.com/app/34...
