[1all] Dodonpachi (A-L) - 2026-10-14

Previously cleared DDP with C-L last October    • [1all] Dodonpachi (C-L) - 20251005  . Back then I tried A-L a bit but struggled quite a bit because the lack of screen coverage makes consistency a lot harder. I didn't practice much and mostly did runs this time, so this took a while - maybe 3-4hrs. Stages are a little tricky with A-L because it's easy to miss a few popcorn and get sniped. Also a lot of sections require sweeping enemies and doing a cutback which adds risk. Fast move speed helps for repositioning, but makes micrododging harder. I lost a lot of runs to early deaths in stage 3 or 4. On this run I no-missed first 4 stages, had an OK stage 5 (2-miss), and had an amazing stage 6 which no-misses until the boss, for total of 3 misses. Have never been able to get through stage 6 honestly without bomb spamming so was neat to do it in a full run. Another highlight is no-miss no-bombing the stage 4 boss. Stage 5 "hall of hell" is still pretty hard for me, but curious how manageable it would be with C-L or C-S.
