Well, these are common French expressions that are widely used in daily life situations, on a daily basis. The goal of this French lesson is to help you understand some common French expressions with a context or examples, so that you can get familiar with them and don't feel taken aback, surprised or even lost when someone says these. You might already know that we love to use idioms in French... And here I'll focus on French expressions with nationalities. I selected the most used ones, the ones that you might hear a native French speaker say, be it in a French café or while visiting a flat or a house in France. I also take some minutes to explain the origins, the reason why we say these in French.
