ANTIQUE FAN RESTORATION - 1940 Delco Appliance Corp. Model 1500 Desk Fan Restoration

After the success of my GE fan restoration in an earlier video, my fiance decided she wanted a fan for her office. I got this Delco Appliance Corp. Model 1500 desk fan on eBay for a good price. It was a little rough looking and obviously was untested due to the state of the cord and missing the plug, but I took a chance on it! Buying an Antique fan can be a toss of the dice. Especially if they are in untested condition. I got really lucky as the fan ran just fine. In my initial test, the fan did not oscillate and the cause could be anything from a broken or worn component or missing pieces. I was hoping I could get it to fully function again! Watch me take the fan apart, clean it up, repaint it, polish the blades and make it look and function great!
