DreamStacker Live Stacking Demo - 5399 16-bit 533MC frames stacked in 490 seconds

This video shows DreamStacker Live processing 5400 x1 second exposures of M82 taken with an ASI533MC Pro (Lucky Imaging). No cropping, no ROI, full frames, calibration, debayer, registration, HFR/PSF filtering (frame rejection), streaming sigma-clipping. The compute part on a 5950X + RTX4080 works at around 11 FPS. Measured performance on a 2600MC Pro on a I9 11900 3080RTX Mobile is around 6 to 7 FPS, largely enough to do zero storage live stacking. Actual performance is a bit lower here with constant display refreshes, video recording and interface interaction. C++ and fused native cuda kernels #cuda #livestacking #luckyimaging #astrophotography
