These verbs in Arabic are called Af3aal mu3talla أفعال معتلة The examples we have in the video share three things in common. 1- They are three-letter verbs. 2- alif is the second letter أجوف hollow 3- All of them take different forms in the present tense conjugation. Irregular verbs can have either alif, yaa, or waaw as part of their root/infinitive form. Here is a verb list to practice with. To say قالَ يَقُولُ/ To fast صَامَ يَصُومُ / To sleep نامَ يَنامُ / To fear خَافَ يَخافُ / To rise/get up قَامَ يَقُومُ / To drive / lead قَادَ يَقُودُ / To return عَادَ يَعُودُ / To die مَاتَ يَمُوتُ / To blame لامَ يَلُومُ / To be كانَ يَكونُ / To visit زَارَ يَزورُ / To sell بَاعَ يَبيعُ /
