Australian courts have just released Erin Patterson’s redacted police interview, and it’s as chilling as it is bizarre. Erin, accused in the infamous “mushroom luncheon massacre”, is seen answering detectives’ questions about the death cap mushroom Beef Wellington that left three people dead and another critically ill.
In today’s video, we’re doing a watch-and-react breakdown of the interview. From Erin’s flat affect, odd body language, and contradictory answers, to the police calling out her lies in real time—it’s all here. We’ll also dig into the evidence: the missing phone, the dehydrator, and Erin’s claims of “helpfulness” that don’t quite add up.
🔎 Was Erin trying to cover her tracks? Why did she only stay five minutes at the hospital when her guests were dying? And how do investigators connect her story to the mounting evidence?
Join me on the sofa as we unpack this case piece by piece.
