Fig bread: A traditional delicacy of Croatia

The small island of Vis opened to tourists in 1995 and since then, many of the inhabitants changed their occupation from agriculture to tourism. Only a few find their way back to ancient traditions, like a fig farmer. He produces organic fig bread, a traditional local delicacy made from dried figs, Mediterranean herbs and schnapps.
