Analog Digital

한 때, 디지털 시대의 대표주자였던 기기들이 차세대 스마트 기기들에게 자리를 내어주고 자신들이 무시했던 아날로그와 같은 취급을 받게 된 지 몇 십 년이 흘렀다. 아이러니하게도 아날로그 방식이 아님에도 그들과 같은 취급을 받고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 디지털이라고 부르기엔 구식이다. 그들의 애환을 담아 만든 노래이다. 20세기말, 당시의 통화기기들이 내는 벨소리를 묘사하여 레트로 분위기의 EDM음악을 만들었습니다. 당시 디지털 기기는 뭔가 차가우면서도 정감이 가는 느낌이 들더라고요. 지금은 다양한 기능이 추가되고 생활에 편리를 가져다주는 스마트 기기들이 우리 곁에 있지만 뭔가 더 차가워진 느낌입니다. 당시 디지털 기기의 전성기였던 시절에 대한 그리움과 시대의 흐름으로 인해 자리에서 물러난 후의 애환을 그렸습니다. There was a time when devices that were once the icons of the digital age yielded their places to next-generation smart devices. Decades have since passed, and they now find themselves treated exactly like the analog tech they once looked down upon. Ironically, despite not being truly analog, they receive the very same treatment. Yet, to call them digital feels entirely outdated. This is a song that captures their sorrow and pathos. In the late 20th century, I created retro-style EDM music that mimics the ringtones of communication devices from that era. Digital devices back then felt somewhat cold, yet strangely warm and nostalgic. Today, we are surrounded by smart devices that offer various features and convenience, but they somehow feel even colder. This track portrays the longing for the golden age of those digital devices, along with the sorrow and bitterness of them fading away as time moved on.
