Octave Fuzz Hack! EHX Ring Thing Vs Octavia. Crazy sounds!

I'll demonstrate how to hack your EHX Ring Thing to turn it into a really great sounding Octave fuzz. But, is it as good as the Roger Mayer Octavia? I LOVE my Roger Mayer Octavia but the Ring Thing provides a ton of other cool sounds. I wanted to experiment to see if I could find a way to hack the Ring Thing to get some of those Hendrix Octave Fuzz tones we all love while still being able to toggle the Ring Thing presets for other wacky sounds (did you know it also does a great Whammy style pitch shift too?)
