Plug-in PV and Battery Storage: International Perspectives on Electrical and Fire Safety | Seminar 1 Plug-in photovoltaic (PV) systems are gaining attention worldwide, raising important questions about electrical safety, fire safety, technical requirements and regulatory frameworks. In this first IEA PVPS international seminar, experts from Australia, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Ireland and France share national perspectives on plug-in PV systems, exploring current regulations, safety considerations and approaches to their integration into electricity networks. The seminar also features an international discussion on the opportunities and challenges associated with plug-in PV, including technical requirements, installation practices and consumer safety.
