This epic overlanding trip took us through some of the most stunning high-alpine scenery in the state. Starting in historic Silverton, CO, we tackled the rugged trails with 3 vehicles, 6 adults, and 7 kids (ages ranging from toddlers to teens). We camped off Engineer Pass with epic mountain views right from our rigs, then headed into Lake City the next day for a well-earned meal. The journey wrapped up as we dropped down beautiful Cinnamon Pass to close the loop. This trail had beaten us once before — we had to turn around last time. Completing it this trip felt like a huge accomplishment! The kids had an absolute blast, the views were jaw-dropping, and the whole crew made unforgettable memories. If you love overlanding, family adventures, high-altitude passes, and epic mountain camping, this one’s for you! 📍 Route: Silverton → Engineer Pass → Lake City → Cinnamon Pass Vehicle Count: 3 rigs Total People: 13 (6 adults + 7 kids) 🎵 Copyrighted music licensed from Lickd. https://lickd.co Chevrolet (feat.
