THE LIFE OF A DICTATOR - Joseph Stalin - Gori, Georgia 🇬🇪

Joseph Stalin is known as one of the worlds most famous dictators. He was born in Gori, Georgia, and here there’s a museum dedicated to his life. Stalin is most well known for his crimes, and there’s no denying that Stalin was responsible for some horrible atrocities. However, he also did a lot of good things. He turned the Soviet Union into a global superpower and also ended WW2. The Stalin museum takes you through his life, from his youth to to his leadership of the USSR. He was born in 1878, as Ioseb Jughashvili, in Gori, Georgia (then, it was part of the Russian Empire) He changed his name and became interested in Marxism. It was very interesting to learn about his life and to see his personal items, house, train carriage and many photo and statues. It’s well worth a visit and f you get the opportunity to go then I recommend taking a tour.
