SPEEDRUN: Ground Zero - C&C Covert Operations (Tiberian Dawn)

Time taken: 2 minutes 49 seconds. The mission is to evacuate the attendees of a conference before they get nuked. Lots of enemy AI exploitation here; I didn't go the usual route by getting a medium tank and clearing the way. Just distract and blaze through. Command & Conquer is the pioneer game which spawned the entire C&C series. An award-winning title, it centres on the war between two factions - the Global Defence Initiative which is an international defence body crafted by the United Nations. and the Brotherhood of Nod, an organisation led by a charismatic self-proclaimed Messiah called Kane. The war focuses on an anomalous mineral called Tiberium, of which its value is interpreted differently by the two factions. The Covert Operations features 15 new missions with special scenarios and objectives for both sides, adding more flavour to the original campaigns. Command & Conquer can be downloaded legally for free as it is certified freeware.
