Japanese Nightcore version of "Farewell of Slavianka" — スラヴィアンカの別れ / Прощание славянки, the iconic Russian farewell march composed by Vasily Agapkin in 1912. "Farewell of Slavianka" was composed by Vasily Agapkin in 1912 in the city of Tambov, inspired by the Slavic women bidding farewell to their men leaving for the First Balkan War. It began life as a purely instrumental march — the many sets of lyrics, in several languages, were only added over the following decades. The melody went on to become one of Russia's most iconic farewell tunes, carried through World War I, the Civil War and the Soviet era. Most famously, it was played at the Red Square parade on 7 November 1941, after which the soldiers marched straight to the Battle of Moscow.
