U-Boat type XX1 (type 21) a Robbe dynamic dive submarine converted to static dive by Martin Pryor. 1/40 scale, just under 2m long. Martin Pryor talking about his model and the set up of the electronics    • Martins Models   Type XXI RC Submarine   Type XXI submarines were a class of German diesel–electric Elektroboot (German: "electric boat") submarines designed during the Second World War. One hundred and eighteen were completed, with four being combat-ready. During the war only two were put into active service and went on patrols, but these were not used in combat. U-2540 in wartime configuration and exhibited at the Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven is the only floating example of a Type XXI U-boat.
