Thank you for clicking on my video. In this video I take you through what happens after casting a first floor concrete slab on a building project, from an Interior Designers perspective. As a professional interior designer and certified project manager with about 10years of experience in the building industry, I have realised that clients tend to lose money when they bring interior designers in at the end of their project or fail to plan properly ahead of time. For new builds it is always advisable to develop the final interior design before construction starts. It is also very important to keep the interior design in the loop during construction and have them come in before every phase. Your project manager can coordinate this for you. It is also an added advantage if your interior designer can work with your contractor, electrician and plumber to confirm designs before they are installed. In this video I show you what happens after the flow and the influence an interior designer has on the blockwork and common mistakes to avoid.
