DEBATE THE SIDDHANTA-- Yes, ACHARYA NINDA-No

||Srimate Ramanujaya Namaha|| When philosophical disagreement gives way to personal disparagement, we risk diminishing the very traditions we seek to uphold. The Vedantic traditions of Adi Sankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya, and Sri Madhvacharya have engaged in profound philosophical dialogue for centuries. Their interpretations differ, and those differences deserve to be studied, understood, and debated with sincerity and scholarship. However, disagreement in Siddhanta should never become disrespect towards revered Acharyas. The recent tone of certain public discussions through online videos concerning the Acharyas of our Vedantic traditions has prompted this humble appeal. While philosophical differences are an enduring part of our heritage, let us ensure that our words continue to reflect the reverence, restraint, and scholarship exemplified by our great Acharyas. As seekers and inheritors of this rich tradition, let us remember that our Acharyas established their positions through Sastra, Yukti, and disciplined reasoning. They left us a legacy of intellectual inquiry—not personal vilification. The purpose of this brief address to the press at Bangalore by U.Ve.Ayee Narasimhan Swamigal of Melkote, in the presence of scholars from Sringeri, Udupi and community elders is not to diminish philosophical differences, nor to seek artificial uniformity. Rather, it is to reaffirm a simple principle- Let us debate doctrines with conviction, but honour Acharyas with reverence. My humble appeal- May our words preserve the dignity of Sanatana Dharma, strengthen mutual respect, and inspire future generations to engage in dialogue with knowledge, humility, and character.
