The GCSE Physics density practical, animated step by step. A regular block measured with a ruler (and when to use vernier callipers or a micrometer), its volume from length × width × height, and its mass on a balance. An irregular stone by displacement in a measuring cylinder, reading the bottom of the meniscus at eye level, then a eureka (displacement) can for objects that won't fit. A liquid's mass by difference, and the quicker way with the tare button. Every result worked through with ρ = m ÷ V, converting g/cm³ to kg/m³ (and why it's × 1000), then errors and improvements, safety, and a 6-mark exam-style question answered point by point.
Covers: AQA required practical 5 (Combined Science 17) · Edexcel core practical 14.3 · OCR PAG P1 (Foundation and Higher, Combined and separate Physics).
