Sonic Unleashed - Apotos (Day) - Windmill Isle, Act 1 + Act 2 (S-Rank)

These are the first two story stages Sonic Unleashed, Act 1 being a brief "get the hang of it" stage and Act 2 being the level proper for Apotos--henceforth all of the story stages would be Act 1, with Acts 2 and beyond always being optional or downloadable stages. Based on the Greek isle of Mykonos, this really is a beautiful level and an excellent stand-in for the usual "tropical/coastal paradise" trope that starts out almost every other Sonic game. Not only are the levels beautiful, but they're also perfect beginners' stages, in my opinion: not mindlessly easy, but easy enough to let the player get into it without much frustration. Good thing, because Day Stage gameplay can be tricky at times and players certainly need the learning curve.
