One Meal a Day, Now a Harvest That Feeds Eight

One meal a day. Eight children. A widow in Turkana who once depended on relief food to survive. Today Elizabeth farms cowpeas, spinach, tomatoes, and watermelon in Natoot, feeding her family and saving to send her kids to school. Elizabeth was born, raised, and married in Natoot, Kenya. For years, getting food meant boiling plain maize, hauling firewood to sell in Lodwar, and often coming home empty-handed. Five years ago she began farming, and her family's story changed. In her words, she has seen God's provision in the fruit of this land.
