💀 Was NOT prepared for this MTB ride 🐦

Day 3 in the Lake District — and this one didn’t go to plan! I downloaded a route on Komoot and headed into the Borrowdale valley, but what started as a ride into the unknown quickly turned into a brutal slog up some seriously rough terrain. Heat, steep climbs, unrideable sections and two days of riding already in the legs eventually took their toll, and I had to make the call to turn back. To top it off, the freehub on my Nukeproof Mega started playing up. There were still some highlights though — including riding past Black Moss Pot and seeing people launching themselves off the rocks into the water.
