The mathematical order of operation is basically the sequence of operations performed in a given mathematical expression. It ensures everyone interprets expressions the same way and avoids ambiguity in math, science, and programming. Commonly known as PEMDAS, the standard order of operations is: Parentheses Exponents Multiplication/Division Addition/Subtraction. The KCF rule stands for "Keep, Change, Flip," a method used to divide fractions by converting division into multiplication. This method works because dividing by a fraction is mathematically equivalent to multiplying by its reciprocal. What does KCF mean? It stands for: Keep: Keep the first fraction as it is. Change: Change the division sign to multiplication. Flip: Flip the second fraction (take its reciprocal) before multiplying
