Casa Tear takes its name from the Portuguese word for “loom”, reflecting the idea of architecture as a weave. Beams, columns and slabs interlace through a precise structural grid, shaping the relationship between spaces, light and landscape. Pigmented exposed concrete, timber elements and a lightweight roof define a material composition where weight and lightness coexist. Deep verandas and generous openings extend the living spaces toward the landscape, creating a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior.
