"PINEAPPLE RAG": CONAL FOWKES and THE RHYTHM SECTION PLUS (Oct. 12, 2013)

At the inaugural Steamboat Stomp, the creation of our own Duke Heitger, in October 2013, the Yerba Buena Stompers swung out with some good old good ones in fine style. Here's a ragtime feature for Conal Fowkes, piano; John Gill, banjo / vocal; Clint Baker, tuba; Kevin Dorn, drums. And -- as an extra added attraction -- the esteemed and delightful Vince Saunders on banjo. Recorded on October 12, 2013, by Michael Steinman for JAZZ LIVES (http://www.jazzlives.wordpress.com).
