Pruning My Norfolk Island Pine Forest, The Bonsai Zone, Nov 2024

My Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) bonsai forest has grown well this year and it needs pruning. I displayed these trees in the KW Bonsai Society's fall show this year. It is sometimes called a star pine, Polynesian pine, triangle tree or living Christmas tree, due to its symmetrical shape as a sapling.
