🏃 Welcome to New Farm parkrun!
In this video, I take you around one of Brisbane’s most established and popular parkruns and cover everything you need to know before visiting, including the course, facilities, attendance, parking and course records.
I visited on 22 August 2026 for Event #700, finishing in 19:50.
📍 Course Information
• Location: New Farm Park, Brisbane QLD
• Distance: 5km
• Start Time: Saturday 7:00am
• Course Type: Out-and-back
• Surface: Cement / surfaced paths
• Flat course

The course follows the curves of the Brisbane River, starting from the south-eastern side of New Farm Park before heading past the Brisbane Powerhouse and continuing along the river.
After reaching the turnaround, you retrace the route back towards New Farm Park and the finish.
Being flat and fully surfaced, New Farm is a great course for settling into a rhythm and can definitely produce some very quick times.

🏃 My Run
I visited New Farm parkrun on 22 August 2026, finishing in 19:50 and getting another sub-20 parkrun on the board.
Even better, it happened to be New Farm parkrun’s 700th event, making this one a pretty cool stop on the tourism streak.
