The CAPE TOWN CHESS FEDERATION LEAGUE 2026 IS HERE!!! Check out the FIRST ROUND

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE to another great video recap- here we are taking an in-depth look at my FIRST GAME of the CAPE TOWN FEDERATION CHESS LEAGUE 2026. As you may know, this happens to be the BIGGEST CHESS LEAGUE in South Africa, hence holds a reputation of attracting the strongest chess players in the country! Representing the Cape Penintsula University of Technology, we have a chess club famously known as the CPUT Chess Club; playing the first board has been quite a fun and a challenging experience. In the first round covered in this video, we had CPUT Chess Club taking on Steinitz Chess Club; an interesting duel that captured many great moments. For clarity purposes, I only have access to my games at the moment, but I will try to reach out to other players as well and ask if they would be interesting if we could feature their games, making this a fun learning experience!
