You love God and you’re doing all the “right things.” You pray, you serve, you treat people well, and you take your responsibilities seriously. So why does it feel like you're not doing enough?
For many Christians, the desire to honor God gets tangled up with perfectionism, fear of getting it wrong, and anxiety. From the outside, you look responsible, faithful, and put together.
On the inside, the pressure never lets up.
In this video, I share how I started to see the connection between my own perfectionism, anxiety, and the pressure to be a “good Christian,” and five actions that helped me break the cycle.
You’ll learn how to:
👉 Recognize when your desire to do the right thing is being driven by fear
👉 Give yourself grace without giving up accountability
👉 Stop measuring your relationship with God by how well you’re doing
👉 Practice the “good enough” concept so you can care without the pressure
👉 Try something new and be bad at it, so mistakes stop running your life
Anxiety doesn’t mean you lack faith or that you’re failing God. You can truly want to honor Him and still struggle with fear and perfectionism. Understanding what’s driving it is where healing begins.
